On July 31st of 2010, the Gregory Brothers put out a music video that, in many ways, changed the lives of several people.  The group had achieved moderate internet meme level fame with their Auto-tune the News clips. But on that particular day, they released a video that for odd reasons that remain unclear grabbed the public’s attention. (more…)

In a recent interview with the AV Club, Ben Folds talks about file sharing and how it’s affected music.  He says, “I know that stealing music has been bad for people, I’m not going to say I’m happy for it, but it’s not a bad thing for music.
